it's closing at the end of the month, the uni that acquired it in 2012 ran it into the ground and then abandoned it

that's crazy, thought it would be courtesy to give at least a few months time to prepare for closing instead of just locking it down immediately :(

the research side will still be going on but they’re no longer opening the museum to the public, and they’re laying off 25% of the staff including me and my animal programs manager who literally tales care of all the animals i haveno clue what s gonna happen. we found out at around the same time the press found out. this is because of fascism and because of for-profit institutions like private universities like Drexel university.
